After Les Gourlus, the largest wind farm in W.E.B history, was built in France last year, the French team of W.E.B is about to realize another promising project. In the community of Flesquières in northern France, the construction workers have already begun working on the same-named wind farm. Six Vestas V126 plants will be built in the next few months. With a capacity of 3.6 MW each, the new wind farm will boast a total capacity of 21.6 MW.
As the future fifth wind farm of W.E.B at the fourth site in France, Flesquières is planned to be completed in mid-2018. The new site is known for its excellent wind conditions and gives rise to hope for a future with lots of clean energy from W.E.B wind power plants.
Needless to say, we will keep you posted on the wind farm’s construction progress and further developments in France!
