In the comfortable atmosphere of the wine tavern Heuriger Waldherr in Neudörfl, project partners and interested parties joined W.E.B in celebrating the opening of two photovoltaic projects that were already realized and put into operation by W.E.B in Burgenland this year. As already reported [link to news from May], the photovoltaic system with a total capacity of 49 kWp on the roof of the innovative wine tavern has been generating clean energy since May. One day before the opening ceremony, the photovoltaic system of the Artner family’s organic farm in Sigleß was put into operation as well.
W.E.B has been working with the Artner family and Sigleß for many years. After all, W.E.B operates three wind power plants with Raimund Artner as their site guard in this community in the Burgenland region. Now the efficient photovoltaic system with a capacity of 124.2 kWp on the roof of the organic farm was finally added to the W.E.B portfolio. Needless to say, sustainability is not a new concept to the Artner family. The organic farm is an exclusive partner of the organic brand “Ja Natürlich” and provides all BILLA stores with Austrian quality garlic.
Aside from their location in the Austrian federal province, the two photovoltaic projects have something else in common: both are the result of the newly established SME Energy Transition Partnership of W.E.B, which develops individual and sustainable concepts in cooperation with green energy customers. On the occasion of the opening celebration, W.E.B CEO Frank Dumeier presented the project partners with their partnership certificates.
