About the Austrian Excellence Award
The quality of participating organizations is evaluated within the framework of an on-site visit (assessment) according to the EFQM model as well as discussion on strategy and individual/group interviews. Small, medium-sized and large-scale enterprises as well as non-profit organizations that are predominantly publicly owned may participate. An independent jury from the fields of economy, science and media determines up to three finalists per category from all submitted applications. W.E.B came out on top in the category “medium-sized enterprises”. The category winners then compete for the overall winner who receives the Austrian Excellence Award.
