Topping-out ceremony for the new extension

On November 6, W.E.B celebrated the topping out of the new addition to the office building, which had become necessary due to the continuous growth of the company. The new offices will be handed over to their new users in spring 2024.  

“We have the great privilege of celebrating this topping out with many contractors from the Waldviertel region,” W.E.B CEO Frank Dumeier expressed his joy in his welcome address. “As we commissioned everything from planning to construction and from the windows to the doors within the districts of Gmuend, Waidhofen and Zwettl, we were able to make sure the region benefits from out added value.”

The current extension follows the last addition of 2019 and will be the first building with three upper floors: its approximately 1,000 square meters will accommodate offices and meeting rooms. In line with our already existing buildings, the new extension will generate solar power thanks to photovoltaic systems on façade and roof. Moreover, a thermal heat pump will take care of heating and cooling. In a nutshell, the new extension fits in seamlessly with the energy concept of the W.E.B campus.
