Sunny and dry with a storm front at Christmas - Monthly production above target
At 170,664 MWh, the total monthly production exceeded the planned target.
This December was characterized by multiplehigh-pressure conditions with mostly sunny and dry weather. During Christmas week, polar air brought stormy weather to parts of Europe. As a result, planned production was exceeded in Austria, France and the Czech Republic. There was less momentum in the air masses in Germany, Italy, Canada and on the east coast of the USA. The production target could not be achieved there.
In the solar segment, Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic closed above plan. The weather was cloudier in Germany and the USA, where target production was not achieved.
The hydropower segment closed above plan.
