September of extremes - monthly production above plan

At 136,395 MWh, total monthly production exceeded the planned target.

After a strong area of high pressure in the first third of the month sent the high summer into extra time, the weather situation changed completely. Cold polar air flowed into the Gulf of Genoa, creating a powerful low pressure area. Over the following days, this moved across the Adriatic to the Czech Republic. As a result, production in Austria, Germany, France, the Czech Republic and Italy was all above plan. There was again less momentum in the air masses on the east coast of the USA and Canada. Results there fell short of expectations.

In the PV segment, Austria, the Czech Republic and the USA closed above plan. The weather was more cloudy in Germany and Italy, where target production could not be achieved.

The hydropower segment closed above plan.
