W.E.B production results July 2017

Below average wind conditions – production below target
In the calm month of July, wind conditions in all our production countries did not reach the longstanding average. The overall monthly production of 60,396 MWh in July could not reach the targeted figure.
We took advantage of the calm summer weather to carry out frequent maintenance work and repair of large components in order to be well-prepared for the upcoming, windier autumn months. However, we have to first make do with below average production results in July in all our production countries. Even the windier sites in Canada and the USA did not succeed in achieving the target level of production.
In July, the sun shined approximately in line with the climatological average. The photovoltaic power segment delivered positive results in Austria and the Czech Republic, whereas the performance in Italy was only slightly below target.
In the hydroelectric power segment, Austria and Germany remained below target.
