W.E.B Quarterly Results
05/2015 - Back to overview
Good wind conditions and new power plants enabled WEB Wind Energy Group to achieve excellent results in the first quarter of 2015.
Revenues and earnings increased significantly due to outstanding wind conditions in the first three months of 2015. After the previous year’s production below target, this fiscal year started out with a first quarter above target. The recently commissioned power plants Martock Ridge, North Beaver Bank and Isle Madame in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia played a key role in these successful quarterly results. In March of this year, W.E.B was also able to commission photovoltaic power plants at Brunn am Gebirge, Austria.
The first quarterly report shows sales amounting to EUR 19.5 million, a rise of 27 per cent as compared to the same period in 2014. At EUR 7.5 million, EBT also demonstrated a marked increase of 74 per cent over the EUR 4.3 million of the previous year.
